I am a landscape artist based in Dorset, England, working in pastel, watercolour and acrylic, inspired by the natural world around me.
I was born in Dorset and have lived there for much of my adult life, apart from my student years spent in London and time spent living abroad in Denmark and France. I grew up in a home strongly influenced by art – my mother was a potter and the walls of our family home were hung with work by my great-aunt, a Danish painter and artist.
The rural and coastal landscape of Dorset has always been an inspiration since childhood.
I have has always been an avid and
passionate painter, keen to reflect the wonder of the natural world and open spaces
